 purchasing 
…every cloth of stillness design, be it physical or digital, are created and made | directed by me, kien chu, and in continued effort to encourage mindful making and conscious consumption, i offer 2 purchasing categories: made to/by order and ready to buy…these methods are rooted in a cultivation of meditative embodiment through the reduction of waste, a recommitment to natural fiber | #mindheartfulupcycling cloth and the holistic value of human crafted designs…this in turn, may lessen harm and deepen our interdependency with all beings and  Gaia for generations to come…
 processing | cancellations
 …after your order is received, an email notification will be sent to you regarding your purchase...please be mindful that cancelations are only allowed up to 72 hours after order is placed for most purchases…thereafter, processing towards in fulfillment is underway…i do not accept any cancellations on all ready to buy, digital downloads; these orders are process as they are received directly into fulfillment...i do not offer refunds, only store credit for most of cloth of stillness products and services…poetry scrolls, digital downloads and all international orders are final sale...if you have any questions prior to ordering, i am happy to help so please feel free to enquire...
  • made to | by order: all poetry scrolls are made to order…cloth, clothes and objects are made by order in Brooklyn, USA…depending on the size of an order, customers should allow up to 7-10 business days, excluding holidays for poetry scrolls and up to 4-7 weeks for all cloth, clothes and objects for in fulfillment...please note that all products under this purchased category may incur variances of handwriting, cloth surfacings, color and stitching from the digital images shown...these potential variances are apart of cloth of stillness's natural processes through human crafted design | making...this should be considered before purchasing as they are not grounds for returns or exchanges...   
  • ready to buy: all one of a kind, kammacloth designs are available for purchasing…payment processing and in fulfillment takes 3-5 business days, excluding holidays…digital downloads and cloth of stillness studio seminars and webinars are available for purchase, either by immediate downloads and/or registrations.
 1st time order policy 
…if this is your first time purchasing, cloth of stillness reserves the right to ship to cardholder’s verified billing address or work address…to avoid delays in receiving your order, please make sure to provide the correct billing and shipping information associated with your credit/debit card when placing an order and include accurate details of any customizations pertaining to your order (i.e. poetry scrolls name customizations...) cloth of stillness is not responsible for lost or missing orders due to an incorrect shipping address provided.
tax and duties or customs charges
 …all orders being shipped within New York will pay sales tax based on state and county at checkout…residents of other US states are responsible for all sales taxes and other taxes, if any, applicable to merchandise shipped to locations outside New York…all addresses outside USA are shipped on DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis, meaning that VAT/ Custom Duties / Local Taxes / Import duties are not included in the final purchase price, and it will be done directly by the customer..please contact the local customs bureau for any questions related to the import tax / duty / VAT fees levied by the country of import...cloth of stillness is not responsible for any fees associated with orders shipped outside the US charged by customs for DDU deliveries. 
shipping
…once in fulfillment is complete, orders are dispatched from Brooklyn, USA and includes complimentary USPS shipping on all domestic orders; international orders $480 and over are also complimentary ( the complimentary shipping only applies to new orders and does not apply to exchanges, if return is approved)...please note, I do not accept orders shipped to PO Boxes or military APO/FPO…all domestic shipments includes full insurance, tracking and requires signature upon delivery, international shipments may come with insurance depending on the country destination ....some international shipments are available with tracking (within USA) and requires signature upon delivery...at which point, responsibility for the shipment passes to you...if you have specified a recipient other than yourself for delivery purposes, you also accept that signature by the third party is sufficient proof of delivery and fulfillment by cloth of stillness…please also note that if you choose to opt out of the signature requirement for either domestic and international shipments, you authorize USPS to leave your package at the address provided on the order; in the event that the package is lost or stolen upon delivery, neither USPS nor cloth of stillness can be held liable for any reimbursement costs...any additional domestic and international  shipping preferences should be specified at the time of order and input under "special instructions for seller" (i.e. additional insurance, delivery preferences, opt out of signature upon delivery etc.)...
  • for USPS shipping insights, click domestic or international…please note that cloth of stillness cannot be held responsible for unforeseen transit times delays due to weather conditions, busy holiday periods or customs delays, lost or stolen parcels…once an order has shipped, re-routing the package is not possible. 
  • please note that tracking cannot always be provided once shipment leaves the USA for international customers.
  • all incurred shipping costs are non-refundable, which includes domestic returns of packages and/or resend back to customer based on rejection upon arrival...all international duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient, should the package be refused at the point of delivery the order will be charged a return shipping fee as well as the duties and taxes incurred on the shipment.
      returns | exchanges
      …as i instilled each design and make with attentive care, it is equally my intention that you will be happy with your cloth of stillness purchase…please see below regarding returns | exchanges details and conditions that applies to all eligible returns: 
      • if after the 72 hours period from when you purchased cloth of stillness studio work-shop, seminar or webinar event and cannot attend,  i require that a written non-attendance request be sent 3 weeks prior to the event so i can offer to reschedule your enrollment for another date...if you notified me after the 3 weeks period or unable to reschedule for another workshop, i will offer you store credit in the amount of the workshop.
      • for all physical products that are eligible for return towards the possibility of store credit, it must be unworn, unwashed, unused or defective and in original condition with packaging and tags attached...you have 5 days from the receipt of the product to contact me by replying to your order's shipping confirmation email and request a return merchandise authorization (rma), all products are inelligible for returns after the 5 days period has passed...if applicable, please be prepared to provide supporting images when contacting me for an rma to support your purpose for the return...once return is authorized via email, kindly ship the return product within 2 days...if return is approved, i can offer store credit only but not refunds...please note that all poetry scrolls, digital downloads and international sales for all products/services are final sale.
      • customer will be responsible for the domestic shipment of return products and pay shipping costs; properly packed the shipment for transport, insured the full amount and shipped with a tracking number. The return of damaged products due to carrier mishandling will not qualify for credit and customer will be responsible for issuing a claim with their carrier for reimbursement
      • if an item returned was either sent without return merchandise authorization or is not approved from inspection upon receipt, the item will be sent back to the customer at their expense… cloth of stillness will not be responsible for any returned packages that are lost or damaged in transit….incurred shipping charges are non-refundable. I do not accept c.o.d. returns.
      • if you would like to use your store credit for an exchange of an available item, your approved return must be received first and inspected. If a store credit is issued, you will then be charged shipping for the exchange, before it can be sent to you.
      • cloth of stillness holds the right to deny any returns that does not meet all the above policy requirements...
